Empowering the next generation of digital talent through hands-on training, employability skills, and career opportunities.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HERNDON, VA — June 25th, 2025

avertra is honored to be selected by Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE) to upskill youth in ICT, funded through the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (YTJ) project and managed by DigiSkills Association

Designed to empower Jordanian youth, this program supports Jordan’s broader effort to boost digital skills and create real job opportunities, while building on avertra’s ongoing commitment to investing in homegrown talent and future leaders.

Building Skills with Real-World Impact

Set to launch this year, this hands-on experience is designed to equip participants with technical skills in SAP technologies and low-code development. These are highly sought-after skills in the global tech market.

While expertise in SAP has typically been concentrated in Egypt, India, and Turkey, avertra has proactively established a knowledge hub in Jordan to upskill youth in ICT by investing in and training young Jordanian professionals, cultivating the local expertise found in these two critical areas.

Training will be delivered by avertra’s top global experts, practitioners who have built and implemented digital transformations for leading organizations in utilities, government agencies, logistics, and financial services across North America and the Middle East. Participants will gain exposure to real-world practices from industry experts who understand what excellence looks like on a global stage.

Recognizing that behind every learning path is a young person full of potential, additional courses rooted in employability, entrepreneurship, and soft skills will be embedded throughout the program, ensuring that every individual comes out of it with confidence and a mindset centered around built resilience, creativity, and impact.

Creating Lasting Opportunities

As part of its long-term investment in local talent, avertra is committed to offering employment opportunities to 60% of top-performing graduates. By creating a direct link between ICT youth training and employment, the effort provides a clear path into the workforce and a meaningful step toward building sustainable talent pipelines and driving local digital growth.

“When young people are given the right tools and a real shot, they exceed expectations, every time.” said Bashir Bseirani, CEO/CTO of avertra. “ We’re stepping up to invest in local talent, empower the next generation of digital leaders, and create real opportunities they can step into. Because at its core, this is about building futures, strengthening communities, and showing what it means for the private sector to lead with purpose.”

A Vision for Empowering the Next Generation

This collaboration reflects what’s possible when public ambition meets private action. By bringing together global expertise and local commitment, it shows a practical way to empower youth, invest in future talent, and contribute to long-term impact where it matters most.
